I was really surprised with the quality of the swimming pool area at Occidental. Although it could get busy, there were always enough loungers and umbrellas available. The pool was well maintained and the water was always the perfect temperature for a refreshing swim. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Located in a great area close to the beach and public transportation, this hotel offers a comfortable stay. Rooms are large with comfortable beds and friendly staff. the pool area adds a nice touch to the hotel with a pool bar and beanbags to relax on.
Some guests have reported issues with air conditioning and difficulty with overcharging for items not purchased. The hotel could improve on these areas for a better experience.

I loved the location of this hotel! It was so close to the amazing beaches and there were plenty of restaurants around. I also enjoyed the hotel facilities, especially the infinity pool with comfortable day beds - it was such a great place to relax. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the cleanliness of the room was great. Finally, the breakfast was excellent with a good variety of delicious food.
